Me and my herdmates spend a majority of our time lying in clean, comfortable freestalls bedded with sand. Sand is soft, clean and inorganic, meaning that bacteria will not grow in it, allowing me to produce high quality milk. Life here sure is a beach! |

In the barns we have lots of water available to drink. We need it, milk is mostly water and a cow can consume over 30 gallons of water per day. Our watering troughs are cleaned daily and are always full of fresh, clean water. |

Another large part of our time is spent eating. We consume over 100 pounds of feed per day. It takes a lot of good, quality feed for us to produce a lot of milk. We consume many products that are indigestible for humans and digest them using our unique stomachs to produce milk.
